Qualifications

Think Tank Academy was established in 2018 to revolutionise and transform the Health & Social Care, and Residential Childcare sectors. We create innovative training solutions for care providers, supporting the career development of all care workers.  In addition to our range of online, virtual classroom, and face to face courses, we are accredited with Highfield offering a range of appropriate and relevant qualifications up to Level 5.

Putting P.R.I.D.E into Social Care, our values; Professional, Respect, Integrity, Development & Equality are the core characteristics that all care workers should have to give them a baseline to grow. For us, Social Care will no longer be an under resourced and undervalued relative of Health Care, but rather a career of choice.

There are approximately 2.7 million people working with children and young people in England and a further 1.54 million people working in Adults Health and Social Care.   Because of the increasing number of disabled younger adults living longer and the growing number of older people needing care, adult social care is growing and the sector needs another half a million jobs, and people to do them, by 2035.

The social care workforce makes up approximately 15% of the labour market in England and Wales and includes people working in all sectors of the economy. It is vital that this workforce is able to demonstrate the right qualities and gain the appropriate qualifications to support children and young people in gaining the best start in life and provide them with a safe and secure environment.
